Runners,

I've been making quite a few behind-the-scenes updates to the site over the weekend, trying to get it to be even more intuitive and reliable. And I've been able to add a few new features, so I decided to create this page to keep you all updated.

Three new columns were added to the Main Running Log: Calories Burned, Shoes, and Shoe Mileage. Additionally, the time of day was added to the Date where available. To view any of these new fields, visit the Preferences page and check the boxes. You can also save a default weight there for the calorie calculations (in case you didn't enter your weight on each run). All of these fields carried through to the individual Run Details pages as well. Finally, there is a new standalone Calories Burned Calculator that you can use.

Lately, my "real job" and my own running have been keeping me very busy and I haven't had as much time to work on the site as I'd like. Still, if you have an idea or suggestion, please let me know and I'll do my best to get it up here eventually.
